SoCal Edison destroyed downed poles after windstorm, commission says

A California Public Utilities Commission report found that of 248 Southern California Edison utility poles downed by a 2011 wind storm, 75 percent were destroyed before proper inspection, a violation of rules. The commission found that 21 poles inspected had prior damage, The Los Angeles Times reports.
