Calif. EPA plans to name BPA a hazard

California's Environmental Protection Agency plans to name bisphenol a, also known as BPA, a hazard to reproduction. BPA is frequently used in plastics, and the move would require manufacturers to include warning labels on products with unsafe amounts, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.
